Comfortable enough to work from
I sat in it for most of a weekend and never needed to shift position. The seat is deep without swallowing you, and it has not softened or lost its shape after two months.

Expensive, and worth it. The beech frame is properly finished — you can feel the grain, not a coating.

The back and the side are finished as carefully as the front, which matters because ours sits in the middle of the room. Only note is that it is heavier than I expected — worth planning where it goes before it arrives.

Ordering online was the part I worried about

Outform makes chairs. Not a catalogue of furniture with chairs in it — chairs, specifically, because sitting is the thing a room is judged on and the thing most furniture gets wrong.
Each piece starts from a proportion rather than a style. The seat height, the depth, the angle of the back and where the arm falls are settled first, in full-size mock-ups, before any of it is drawn as a finished object.
What follows from that is a frame you can see. Nothing is boxed in behind a panel, which means the joinery has to be good enough to look at. It is a slower way to build a chair and it is the reason the collection grows one piece at a time.

At Outform, each piece is made to order and carefully prepared before making its way to you. Here’s what you can expect from our delivery process.
Complimentary Delivery Across Egypt
We offer free delivery on all Outform orders anywhere in Egypt.
There are no standard delivery charges added to your order.
Production & Delivery Time
Our furniture is made to order, meaning production begins once your order is confirmed.
Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks from order confirmation for production and delivery.
Once your piece is ready, our team will contact you to coordinate delivery.
While we always aim to deliver within this timeframe, occasional delays may occur. If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we’ll keep you updated.
Scheduling Your Delivery
Before delivery, our team will contact you using the phone number provided with your order to arrange delivery.
Please make sure your delivery address and contact information are complete and accurate when placing your order.
If you need to update your delivery information, contact us as soon as possible.
Receiving Your Order
We recommend inspecting your furniture when it arrives.
If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible and provide clear photos or videos of the issue.
Our team will review the issue and arrange the appropriate solution in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Access to Your Home
Before ordering, please check the dimensions of your chosen piece and make sure it can comfortably fit through your entrance, doorways, corridors, staircases, and elevators.
If you’re unsure whether a piece will fit, contact us before ordering and we’ll be happy to help.
Assembly
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, Outform pieces are delivered fully assembled and ready to use.
The Montu Lounge Chair requires no assembly.
Returns & Return Shipping
While your original delivery is complimentary, if you decide to return or exchange an eligible item due to a change of mind, the return transportation cost is the customer’s responsibility.
The collection cost will be communicated to you before the return is arranged and may be deducted from your refund.
If a return is required because of a confirmed manufacturing defect, damage during delivery, or an incorrect item, Outform will cover the necessary return transportation cost.

Returns & Refunds
We want you to feel confident when ordering from Outform. If your piece isn’t right for your space, we’re here to help.
Returns
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to applicable consumer protection requirements.
To be eligible for a return, your piece must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
Please contact our team within the return period to arrange collection.
Return Collection
Delivery of your Outform order is complimentary across Egypt.
If you choose to return an item because you have changed your mind, the return transportation cost is the responsibility of the customer. We will confirm the collection cost with you before arranging the return, and it may be deducted from your refund.
If your item is being returned because of a confirmed manufacturing defect, damage on delivery, or an incorrect item, Outform will cover the collection cost.
Refunds
Once your returned piece has been received and inspected, we’ll let you know when your return has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued through the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to appear in your account.
Any applicable customer-paid return transportation costs may be deducted from the final refund amount.
Exchanges
If you would prefer to exchange your piece, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
The original piece must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
As Outform pieces are made to order, your replacement may require approximately 2–3 weeks for production and delivery.
Any difference in price between the original and replacement item will be adjusted accordingly. Return transportation costs for change-of-mind exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
Customized Pieces
Pieces made according to special specifications requested by you, such as a custom fabric, colour, finish, dimensions, or other modifications, may not be eligible for return or exchange due to a change of mind, where permitted under applicable law.
If a customized piece arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the specifications confirmed in your order, please contact us and we’ll make it right.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
Every Outform piece is carefully inspected before delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and clear photos or videos showing the issue.
Once confirmed, we’ll arrange the appropriate repair, replacement, or refund at no additional transportation cost to you, in accordance with applicable consumer protection requirements.
Natural Variations
Our furniture uses materials such as natural wood, which can vary slightly in grain, texture, pattern, and tone from one piece to another.
These natural characteristics make each piece unique and are not considered manufacturing defects.

What are the exact dimensions?
Montu measures 78 cm wide, 97 cm deep and 74 cm high, with a 45 cm seat height. Every product page lists its own measurements above the information tabs — measure the space before ordering, and contact us if you want the chair mocked up against your floor plan.
How comfortable is it?
Montu is a lounge proportion: a deep seat with a fixed recline, intended for long sitting rather than dining or desk use.
What is it made of?
The Montu Chair is crafted from solid beech wood (زان) with an upholstered cushioned seat and backrest. The materials were selected for durability, comfort, and a refined finish.
Is assembly required?
No. The Montu Chair arrives fully assembled and ready to use.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
Every chair is carefully inspected before delivery. If your chair arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact us as soon as possible with photos or videos of the issue, and our team will arrange the appropriate repair, replacement, or refund.
How long does delivery take?
Each Montu Chair is made to order. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for production and delivery. We’ll contact you to coordinate delivery once your chair is ready.
Delivery is complimentary anywhere in Egypt.
Can I return or exchange it?
Yes. Standard pieces may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to our Returns & Exchanges Policy and applicable consumer protection requirements.
Customized pieces made to your selected specifications may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges.
How do I clean it?
For regular care, gently vacuum the upholstery using a soft attachment and wipe the wooden frame with a clean, soft cloth.
For spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on either the fabric or wood.
Are other colours or fabrics available?
Yes. Custom fabric and colour options may be available upon request. Contact us before ordering and our team can walk you through the available options.
Please note that pieces produced with custom fabrics, colours, finishes, dimensions, or other specifications are considered customized orders, which may affect return and exchange eligibility.
